T. Boone Pickens is travelling to Iowa to tell a bunch of corn farmers that his idea to use wind and natural gas will replace any need for biofuels.  Pickens says: “Bio is small” on his website.

We think Pickens is wrong.  Bio is not small, biofuels area large part of ending our addiction to oil. Just as his prescription of natural gas and wind power are also a part of the solution.  Each option presents challenges. This is why we must continue to invest in all resources that will reduce our impact on the environment and end our addiction to oil: biofuels, wind and natural gas. 

Either way, you gotta respect a guy who will go to Iowa and say that.
